"Trunk-or-Treat" at Oakwood Annapolis
Our union is more than just contracts and newsletters. We’re always coming together to live, work, and raise our families. Recently, the stewards at Oakwood Annapolis organized a great social event to get members and their families together for some Halloween themed fun.
Members hosted a social event called “Trunk-or-Treat” in the public park behind the facility. Grown-ups parked their cars next to each other and decorated the insides of their trunks with themes ranging from harvest-themed to downright scary! When the trunks opened, the trick-or-treaters visited each one, filling up their bags. The costumes were great and the cider and donuts hit the spot on a chilly fall afternoon.
“At Oakwood-Annapolis, we stick together. Getting together outside of work with Union members is like getting together with family members and we always want to see more members & their families!” said Kyrstin Harvey Ducey, a steward, and one of the organizers of the event.
