Optalis has failed to bargain as the strike reaches its 9th day

Detroit, MI – SEIU Healthcare Michigan has filed unfair labor charges against Optalis nursing homes at Four Seasons (Westland) and Greenfield (Royal Oak) for refusing to schedule negotiations, not providing proposals in writing, and surface bargaining. Due to the bad faith bargaining and unfair labor practices, nearly 150 nursing workers at Four Seasons and Greenfield strikes are now unfair labor strikes. The approximately 100 Foutain Bleu workers remain on an unfair labor strike with no contract in over four years.
