WE HAVE A MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: The RN bargaining team has reached a tentative agreement with Mercy Health.
After two days of very intense back-to-back bargaining, we were able to complete economics and agree on a package we feel that members will vote for in approval. We feel confident we have pushed Trinity for everything we could get and are proud of what we achieved at the table. We couldn’t get everything we wanted, but we achieved the majority of our priorities.
This has been possible because of every single one of our nurses who organized, spoke out, and fought for our rights as a union. Thank you everyone for putting your trust in us to complete the deal. Our union is strong and we will continue to grow and thrive with a new contract.
The tentative date to vote to ratify the contract is May 3rd, depending on the completion of the paperwork from Mercy. On that date, we plan to present the entire tentative agreement to our membership and hold the vote. There will be no leaks or any release of information prior to that date, so we ask for your patience during this time.
As we wait for the ratification vote, let’s put all of our energy into supporting the Service & Support and Tech II units as they negotiate their contracts.
Stay tuned for more information about the vote in the upcoming days.
